                                                             Code of Conduct

1. Scope & Applicability
    By registering for, attending, exhibiting at, or sponsoring the ProveIt Conference                (in-person, hybrid, or virtual), you agree to comply with this Code of Conduct (“Code).      This Code applies to all Participants, including attendees, speakers, sponsors,                    exhibitors, vendors, contractors, volunteers, staff, and guests.

2. Purpose
    The Conference is designed to be a respectful, inclusive, safe, and productive                      environment for networking, learning, and demonstration of Industry 4.0 solutions.          This Code ensures Participants can engage without harassment, discrimination, or            disruptive behavior.

3. Expected Behavior
    Participants must:
             (a) Treat others with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.
             (b) Refrain from harassment, intimidation, or discrimination based on protected characteristics.
             (c) Behave appropriately in all Conference settings.
             (d) Follow instructions from event organizers and venue personnel.
             (e) Use event spaces safely, lawfully, and without interfering with others.

4. Prohibited Behavior
    The following conduct is prohibited:
             (a) Harassment, sexual misconduct, intimidation, threats, or unwanted attention.
             (b) Disruption of sessions, exhibits, presentations, or networking activities.
             (c)Unauthorized recording or broadcasting.
             (d) Damage to property.
             (e) Obscene, abusive, or discriminatory language.
             (f) Aggressive solicitation or conduct inconsistent with sponsor/exhibitor rules.
             (g) Interference with another Participant’s booth, demo, or staff.

5. Sponsor & Exhibitor Obligations
    Sponsors and Exhibitors must ensure their employees, contractors, and booth                    personnel comply with this Code.  

6. Sanctions for Violations
        I.     Level I – Warnings & Corrective Actions
                    a. Verbal or written warning
                    b. Required modification of behavior
                    c. Temporary pause in participation

        II.    Level II – Participation Restrictions
                    a. Removal from sessions or areas
                    b. Suspension of access to networking rooms, VIP sections, or exhibit hall
                    c. Limitation of event-app or virtual-platform features

        III.   Level III – Removal from the Event
                    a. Immediate expulsion without refund
                    b. Badge deactivation and loss of re-entry privileges

        IV.   Level IV – Sponsor & Exhibitor-Specific Consequences
                    a. Revocation of booth space or demo privileges
                    b. Removal of brand visibility
                    c. Deactivation of lead-generation tools
                    d. Cancellation of sponsored talks or presentations

        V.    Level V – Post-Event Restrictions
                    a. Suspension or permanent ban from future events
                    b. Ineligibility for future sponsorship
                    c. Referral to security or law enforcement

        VI.   Level VI – Financial Liability
                    a. Liability for damages or emergency response costs
                    b. Reimbursement of expenses
                    c. Forfeiture of fees

7. Reporting Violations
    Reports may be made to the Help Desk during the event or by emailing                                    [email protected].

8. General
    The ProveIT Association may modify this Code at any time.
